Goya has played rugby since early childhood and is known for his outstanding performance which he achieves by exercising his speed and explosiveness despite his rather small frame. He was not only a member of a rugby team in his high school and university, but also was a national team member in different age categories and later participated in the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro as a rugby sevens player.
