Sato found his true calling when he began practicing martial arts at Sakaguchi Dojo during his college years. He made his professional debut at 21 years of age and has fought with Pancrase, Road Fighting Championship, Vale Tudo Japan and Shooto. In 2017, he became the 10th Shooto World Champion in the bantamweight division, and has defended the title twice. In May 2019, Sato entered the ONE Championship. He won his first game against Mark Fairtex Abelardo by TKO, then against Pancrase World Champion (bantamweight) Rafael Silva by KO at the ONE Championship held in Japan in October. Then in January 2020 Sato won against Won Il Kwon with a rear-naked choke in the first round, marking his third consecutive victory in the ONE Championship (as of August 2020).
Although I’m not a fan of protein shakes, I’ve been taking Sun Chlorella first thing every morning to supplement my diet. On days when I haven’t been able to eat well enough, I make myself a chlorella shake to drink again at night. It’s perfect to compensate for an unbalanced meal since chlorella has protein, Vitamin B12, folic acid and iron.
