Elite strength and conditioning coach, nutritionist and sports therapist.
Ruben attended the Royal Ballet School from the age of seven until 13, becoming an England and Great Britain international 400m hurdler from the age of 15. He was European Junior Champion and competed at the highest level for many years.
However, he contracted a virus and developed glandular fever, which left him confined to bed for 2.5 years.
With the hope of getting back to full strength, he studied nutrition and sports therapies and eventually came up with his own training philosophy. After the recovery, he started his career as an advisor to athletes and supported David Haye (former boxing champion WBA Title). He is currently one of the world’s most in-demand strength and conditioning coaches, nutritionists and sports therapists. He also works as an executive club trainer at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park London.
